It is spring and to us that is a time of renewal, of new growth, of lambs and chicks and ducklings. Spring is a time to reflect on what is new, what is changing, what we want to change. For musicians it is easy to get stuck in the same old routine, the same old chord patterns, the same old songs. So, we challenge you to pick up a new skill, a new song, a new technique, a new instrument! Here are 3 reasons we think that instrument should be a ukulele!!
- Ukulele’s are portable. You can take them with you anywhere and create your own sound track everywhere you go!
- Ukulele’s are versatile. You can give any style a twist by playing any song on the ukulele and they will all sound great!
- Ukulele’s are happy. You can not play a ukulele and be sad, just playing one makes you smile, soul deep.
Those are three simple reasons we came up with to pick up a ukulele but of course there are hundreds more reasons. Why do you play the uke??
