Door prizes!!
For door prizes we are going to make up 50 packages! Starting June 1st we will give everyone a raffle ticket when they come in and make a purchase. We will draw 5 winners at a time and post the numbers to the blog here. You will have 2 weeks to come claim your prize (guaranteed to be more than just a $5 Sound of Music Bucks card because that is how we are drawing to see who gets which prize). A draw will be held on July 13th to redistribute the unclaimed prizes so be sure to follow us on our social media!
Costume Prize!!
If you come into the shop June 25th -27th dressed like 1965 (think hippies and mad men) you will get entered into another draw for an Acoustic Set Set. An acoustic guitar, gigbag, tunner and cajon! (get it, you could play an acoustic set with the set? – Acoustic set set!)
Workshop/seminars!
Our team here and some outside guests will be hosting 20 minute seminars/workshops all three days too. Ranging from how to restring a guitar to how to improvise on a blues scale and more. A schedule of the seminars will be posted and added to as more volunteers step forward. If you have any great ideas or want to host one yourself just shoot us an email and we will try to fit you in too!
Live Music
We are going to set up a space in our back classroom and open the door for live music, an open mic sign up event for all three days! We are going to have the sign up sheets ready on June 15th so you can come in and sign up ahead of time. We will set up a Roland digital piano, Yamaha electronic drum kit, mics and amps on the stage for your use.
It will be a great celebration so be sure to put it on your calendar!!
