These are fantastic isolation headphones. We have 5 sets left at the old pricing from before our dollar tanked. Kathy uses them at home for PC gaming and they drown out the household noise that surrounds her making focus easier to find. They are also sensitive enough that the subtle audio cues you often find in games jumps right out making it obvious when there is a witch in the area (or whatever it is in the games you play… or you know, the instrument). The chord is a convenient length if she needs to stand up to yell at the cats to stop fighting too! Speaking of the cats, the chord is also heavy duty, Kathy has caught one of her cats chewing on it more than once and there are no issues at all with sound yet (the same cat ruined 3 sets of gaming headsets with his nomming). They are comfortable to wear for marathon sessions as well – 4 or more hours with no discomfort (probably more, but she doesn’t want to seem like too much of a nerd). They also work well when she practices the piano so that no one can hear her mess up (over and over again). Other people also have been impressed with how well they work with all sorts of instruments, true transfer of sound and so on. At $114.95 they are a heck of a deal!
