With the weather getting to be so hot I just wanted to remind you all that if you are in need of strings and out walking your dog, or if your dog is your best friend and goes with you everywhere, Please, feel free to bring them into the shop when you pop in!
Please do not leave them in your car in this heat, it is so so hot!!
When Sound of Music first started up Bob Press brought his dogs Spooky (a German Shepard with strong opinions on credit applicants) and Sheba (a Great Dane who may or may not have broken a grand piano’s leg) to the original shop on Fraser Highway at about 206th (across from where Penny Pinchers is on the one way in Langley now, it was an Overweighty foods back in the day). Bob always had “shop dogs” but as he aged they shrank, from Great Danes in the 60’s to George, an obese Dachshund who took retirement with Bob in 1992, giving up his spot under the desk in the warehouse on Industrial Ave (in Langley).
While none of us bring our pets to work with us now, you are more than welcome to bring yours in with you when you come to see what is new, but for sure, if you have them in the car PLEASE bring them in, don’t leave them out in this heat.
