Matthew started playing guitar at the age of 10 and took lessons right here at The Sound of Music. While attending Robert Bateman Secondary School he played in small projects with friends but could never keep himself off the drummer’s kit, much to the band’s and neighbour’s annoyance. Matthew started teaching with us in 2017 and wants to pass on the feeling of exhilaration experienced when playing your first drum beat to a great song and also wants to take the skill sets of more experienced drummers to the next level.
