We really appreciate your support for our family music store. Our doors were opened on June 25, 1965 and the rewards for our years of promoting our love of music have been countless. Dean was introduced to playing the organ during his elementary school education and that was the beginning of his lifelong commitment. The movie “The Sound of Music” was the inspiration for naming our store and it still inspires folks today. Kathryn accompanied her dad on many instrument deliveries having fun riding the tail gate on the one ton truck when she was little girl. Today she continues to accumulate a great deal of knowledge about all of the wonderful instruments we have in stock. Eloise retired from her health care career in 2003 and has been volunteering in the business for 15 years. Her favorite aspect is the teaching program and our teachers are top rate. Carlos has been with us for 28 years and has taught piano and organ to countless folks, young and old. We have fantastic guitar, ukulele, voice, violin and drum instructors who have a long track record of excellence at Sound of Music. Our concerts in December and June are tons of fun and give the students a chance to ‘strut their stuff’ to the audience of parents, grandparents and extended family. It gives us pleasure to witness the continuing generations coming in for music lessons and it is a great satisfaction to facilitate the life long love of playing instruments. Thank you very much for taking the time to vote for us and we will continue to support you for years to come!
